Alberto Sirven MD
Dr. Alberto Sirven was born in Cuba and went to medical school at The Autonomous University of Central America in Costa Rica. He did his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Nassau University Medical Center an Affiliate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has been practicing in South Florida since 2002 and has special interest in minimal invasive gynecological surgery. He has performed multiple cases of urinary incontinence and pelvic reconstruction with the use of these techniques. Dr. Sirven has been trained in the Robotic daVinci system and has performed multiples successful gynecological surgeries using this innovative tool. He is a member of the robotic committee at South Miami Hospital. Currently a chief of Women and infant department at West Kendall Baptist Hospital an academic affiliated of the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. He is also a member of the advisory board of the family practice residency program at the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at West Kendall Baptist Hospital.
Dr. Sirven has joined fellow resident and long time friend Dr. Julio E. Arronte and together they have created West Kendall OBGYN, a practiced dedicated to women’s health.
Julio E. Arronte MD
Dr. Julio E. Arronte grew up in Miami and started to practice Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2003. He received his medical degree from PUCCM in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He then went on to complete an Internal Medicine Internship at Nassau University Medical Center an Affiliate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, were he received the Outstanding Intern Award. He then completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training in the same institution where he served as Administrative Chief Resident and obtained an award as Outstanding Teaching in Residency Education.
Dr. Arronte has a special interest in providing the latest in women’s health care to include advanced laparoscopy using the DaVinci Robot as well as general obstetrics, gynecology and urogynecology.
Patricia Perfetto MD
Dr Patricia Perfetto was born in Venezuela and earned her medical degree from the Universidad Central De Venezuela where she also completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the Maternidad Concepcion Palacios. After moving to USA, she got certified by the Educational Commission for Foreing Medical Graduates and finished a second Obstetrics and Gynecology training at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, an Affiliate of the University of Wisconsin Medical School. While there she received the Teaching and Academic Coordinator Award, the Endocrinology Lecture Award and her research project was published on the American Journal of Perinatology.
Dr Perfetto offers a compassionate care for women of all ages. Besides providing high quality and comprehensive services in general obstetrics, gynecology and urogynecology; she has developed a special interest in Minimal Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, including the use of The DaVinci Robot as well as in the evaluation of the infertile couple.
Madelyn Gonzalez MD
Dr. Madelyn Gonzalez was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She graduated high school from Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, and went on to graduate with a Bachelor in Science in Psychobiology from the University of Miami.
She graduated Medical school from St George’s University, where she received multiple commendations for her participation and interest in women’s health. She later completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Temple University Hospital, thus fulfilling her lifetime dream. During her residency, she obtained many awards including the prestigious Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals “Best Teaching Resident Award”.
Dr Gonzalez has a special interest in nurturing the patient / physician relationship through all the stages of a woman’s life. She has developed the ability to address women’s health issues by listening to their needs and understanding the psychological impact of them
Lorena Tinoco MD
Dr. Lorena Tinoco was raised in Venezuela where she earned her medical degree at Universidad de Central de Venezuela with honors. She worked for a year in a rural area of her native country and after moving to USA, she was certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. Dr. Tinoco completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Temple University in Philadelphia where she received the recognition of outstanding merit an accomplishment in research.
She specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology, management of menstrual disorders fibroids, cervical dysplasia, laparoscopic gynecologic surgery, office-based procedures and pregnancy care.
